In the United States, some of the main forms of rugby are high school football, college football and professional football, which are basically the same with Canada rugby but differ in some points from the rules.

Super Bowl is a championship organized by the NFL – National Football League – American National Rugby League.

The tournament was established on August 20, 1920, by AAFC (American Football League for American Stars) and AFC (American Football League). The tournament takes place every year, from the first Thursday of September to the first Sunday of February next year. Go through 3 stages: the beginning of the season (the last 2 weeks of August), the official season (3 months) and the playoff round (1 month). The final took place in February and is considered one of the biggest (unofficial) festivals of the United States. The teams will play friendly matches with each other 4 games, not counting points, before the tournament officially takes place (September). Many argue that these friendlies are unnecessary and should be omitted to ensure the health of the players.

If the US national rugby tournament was established in 1920, it was not until 1967 that the Super Bowl officially became a Super Cup match that was directed by the entire United States. The name “Super Bowl” was coined by Lamar Hunt, the former (former) owner of the Kansas City Chiefs and founding member of the American Football League, after seeing his children play “Super Ball” (a product of Wham- O).

Super Bowl is a championship organized by the NFL – National Football League – American National Rugby League. Like the finals in history, the Super Bowl usually takes place on the first Sunday of February every year (rarely in January), hence the name Super Bowl Sunday. The Cup for the winner was named after Coach Vince Lombardi Trophy, who led the Green Bay Packers to win the first victory in Super Bowl history.
